ReadingFast was built by an indie developer who wanted to read faster and couldn't find a modern tool that worked.
Most speed-reading software is fifteen years out of date — desktop apps from a different era, gimmicky claims, no real tracking, no way to tell whether the drills are actually moving your number. We wanted something built for now: a clean web app, personalized training plans, science-backed drills, and progress you can actually see.
It's a solo indie project. Bootstrapped, no VC funding, no team, no marketing department. A real product made by a real person — we charge a fair monthly price so we don't have to sell ads or your reading data to keep the lights on.
Our mission is simple: help people read faster, retain more, and feel less buried when they open their tabs. We build for the kind of reader we are — busy, curious, tired of finishing the day with thirty unread newsletters.
